On Saturday night I was invited to the preview of the New
Zealand Dance Company’s first performance. Before hand my family and I went to
Vivace for dinner. I had the Roast Vegetable Salad, which was amazing as
always. The dancing was mainly
contemporary ballet with some sparks of hip-hop. It was an incredible show and
the use of multimedia throughout the performance was spectacular. I thought
that all the dances were amazing but ‘Release your Robot’ was a clear favourite
for me. The effortless blend of Robot and contemporary was amazing and the
storyline was great as well. One thing throughout the performance that I really
enjoyed was the use of live musicians in a way that they were incorporated into
the show and storyline as well. It’s still winter here so I made sure that I
was wrapped up warm. I wore my Huffer Star Skirt and a plain black top, which
makes the outfit look very similar to the Huffer Roulette dress. I also wore my
Lipstick Chelsea Wedges, as they are my current go-to winter shoes when I’m
going out. As always I am wearing my Karen Walker jewellery.
