This year I decided to entire the YMCA Raise Up's annual
Walk the Line competition.
Walk the Line is a platform for Young NZ Designers to get their designs into fashion week, with 5 categories; Canon Wonderland, Beatnik Recyclable, Auckland City Council Cultural, Revlon High Fashion and BNZ Open Design. I chose to enter Revlon High Fashion, creating a simple black cashmere dress with a cape/sash hand embroidered with silver thread. The catch? I chose for my model to be a male.
